Back from Cologne

Back from a lovely relaxing holiday. We ate lots of crazy German food, drank lots of Kolsch (which is a kind of beer that is made in Cologne),saw the sights ad lazed about a lot. Dave and I decided to try not to discuss adoption which, I think was good but God really spoke to me about it which was fantastic. We made the most of a holiday where we could do whatever we liked whenever we liked. After all there may not be the opportunity for that kind of holiday again for quite some time.
We have heard from our social worker and all the forms were completed and got to the right people on time so we are definitely having our panel meeting this Thursday. We have been told by our social worker that you do not get to the point of panel unless they are sure about you being suitable so I’m not feeling worried about it. I just want it to be over with so that we can get on with the next and certainly more exciting part of getting matched. I am hoping that they already have someone in mind for us and that we’ll hear about that as well on Thursday but Dave thinks I’m being wildly optimistic. He is right I’m sure.
By the way incase anyone is wondering why I always post things in the middle of the night, I'd just like to say-I don't. This computer is obviously confused about what time it is.
