Lovely, lovely all is lovely

1) Today we went to Chatsworth house gardens and it was beautiful. The sun was shining, there was not a cloud in the sky and everything looked and smelled amazing. Also we met up with my friend Cath there and here baby which is always a pleasure.
2) Eli is currently obsessed with Mary Poppins and Charlie and Lola in equal measure and "Poppins" is often the first thing he says in the morning.
3) Eli and I have just come back from a lovely week spent in my mum and dad's new house (at last- they have been living in a caravan for 9 months).
4) Last night Dave and I went out for dinner to the Kashmir Curry Centre with my sister and her family who were up visiting relatives in Rotherham.
5)I have made my first shirt (for Eli). I am very proud of it as it has a double yoke, french seams and is made to a much better standard than my usual slap-dash sewing. Also it is covered in cabbages and the woman in the shop when I bought it said that someone had once dared her to make a shirt out of it but of couse she didn't! I kept my mouth shut.
