Waiting

Well we are now 5 days past the due date and as yet no baby. There have been various signs and I have been getting contractions of varying frequency and painfulness since monday morning but nothing has progressed and so we are just waiting. I have been trying to get as much sleep as possible and not to get stressed about it. Tomorrow I will see my midwife again and she has already told me that we will probably need to book a date for induction for some time next week just incase. I am very much hoping that it doesn't come to this as I did really want a natural birth and induction is definately a hospital job and involves a lot of drugs and monitoring. I think though that if we get to the end of next week and nothing has happened that I might not care about such things.

p.s. Can anyone tell us how to put photos on to this blog? We are not very technological.
